Who Is Kendrick Lamar Taking Shots At On “The Heart Pt. 4”

After teasing the crowds with a cryptic post on his Instagram account, Kendrick Lamar has unveiled a new five-minute explosive piece, “The Heart Part 4.”

Nearly five years after Part 3, where Ab-Soul and Jay Rock were invited to the microphone, this is the fourth episode of his The Heart series.

The Heart Part 1 was born on the K. Dot Drops project in 2010, while Part 2 was on the tracklist of the Overly Dedicated mixtape released later that same year.

Those who waited for an album are reassured, the Compton rapper does more than suggest they are correct, “You know what it is / Ante up, This is here forever / Y’all got till April the 7th to get y’all shit together .”
April 7 seems to mark the red felt on the agendas.

He also goes on to rap, “My fans can’t wait for me to son your punk ass and crush your whole lil shit/I’ll Big Pun your punk ass you a scared lil bitch/Tip-toeing around my name nigga you lame/When I get at you homie don’t just tell me you was just playin’/’I was just playing K.Dot c’mon you know a nigga rock with you bro’/Shut the fuck up you sound like the last nigga I know/Might end up like the last nigga I know/Oh you don’t want to clash? Yeah nigga I know”

Kendrick sounds angry as he spits bars about another unnamed artist which we believe to be Big Sean or Drake. The rap game has been fiending for some real rap beef. I hope whoever Kendrick is taking shots at, comes back with some bars so we can get another track from Kendrick. Rick Ross recently dedicated a diss track to Birdman and we all know what happened to Meek Mill after Drake killed him on Back to Back. Looks like fashion isn’t the only thing coming back from the 90s.

The next month promises to be loaded for Kendrick as he will also perform at the Coachella Festival.
