Metallica’s definitely the kind of band that has earned a day in honor of them, and the San Francisco Giants have been doing just that for the past few years. Yesterday was the third annual Metallica Day, and a celebration was held at the baseball team’s AT&T Park in San Francisco during their game against the Angels. Lars Ulrich through out the first pitch while James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett did a rendition of the national anthem and, of course, all of them stuck around for the game.
