After a 32 year run, David Letterman will bow out of the late-night game of May 20th, and the next few weeks are sure to be filled with some fitting tributes to the iconic host. At the end of Friday night’s show, Jason Isbell teamed up with his wife, Texan singer Amanda Shires, to perform a cover of Warren Zevon’s “Mutineer,” which is a favorite of Letterman’s. Zevon played an entire hour on Late Night in 2002 after he was diagnosed with cancer. You can watch video of the performance below.
