Twin Hidden – “A Berry Bursts”

U.K. duo Twin Hidden make folk-inspired indie-pop that puts anyone else in the game to shame. In “A Berry Bursts,” small bits of unique anatomy evoke natural disasters (“In your mouth there’s earthquakes and flares”), an on-and-off again relationship unleashing apocalyptic emotional torrent worthy of a romanticized Book Of Revelations. It’s angst-ridden, sure, but Twin Hidden’s desperate reminiscence sounds downright joyful accompanied by buoyant, guitar-driven pop.
