Travis Scott Talks Upcoming Album “Astroworld” And Drops A New Short Film

Travis discusses upcoming album Astroworld.

Everything seems to be working for Travis Scott. Riding on the success of his latest album, the rapper just released a short film for the occasion.
Even though he was snubbed at the last Grammy Awards, Travis Scott did not hesitate to see things on the right side and to celebrate the record just as he did with his album “Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight “.

Travi$ Scott’s “Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight” project has been nicely placed in the list of the most successful rap albums of 2016 by a good number of critics. The album is indeed part of the 10 albums having been the most streamed in history. An impressive accomplishment for the rapper from Houston, Texas, who has just published a short film, made with the help of Apple and taking care of tracing his album in a very nice way. However, this 14-minute video and dust will only be offered on the Apple Music platform. Otherwise, a short 15 second extract can be seen below.

Recently, Scott was joined by Lil Uzi Vert and Quavo on the track “Go Off”, serving as the original soundtrack to the movie “Fate of the Furious”, aka “Fast and Furious 8.”

Also, in a recent interview with GQ magazine, he talked about his upcoming album, AstroWorld, saying it might be his best music yet. Scott says, “It might be the best music that I made, I have two records on the album that are like, man, they are the best. They tore down AstroWorld to build more apartment space. That’s what it’s going to sound like, like taking an amusement park away from kids. We want it back. We want the building back. That’s why I’m doing it. It took the fun out of the city.”

Unfortunately, he did not comment any further. He did not give any hints about a release date or possible features but if it’s anything like his last album, we’re definitely in for a treat.
