Metric is six albums deep into this thing with no signs of slowing down — Pagans In Vegas follows 2012’s Synthetica, which was a better fifth record than any band of this caliber needed it to be. Not sure if Pagans In Vegas will live up to that, but we’ve heard a bunch of singles already that suggests it’s good: “The Shade,” “Cascades,” “Too Bad, So Sad,” “Fortunes,” and “Lie, Lie, Lie” have all been promising enough, and Metric is a band who always seem better on the deeper cuts anyway. Pagans In Vegas is streaming now, and apparently Metric already have another album ready to go. Check this one out via The New York Times below.
