Rome Fortune – “Leaders” (Prod. Four Tet)

As far as I know, Rome Fortune is the only guy on Atlanta’s rap underground who’s recorded multiple tracks with Four Tet. Last year, Rome Fortune and Four Tet teamed up for “One Time For” and “Lights Low.” And now that Rome has a new iOS/Android app coming out, he’s celebrating by releasing a third Kieran Hebden collab out into the world. On “Leaders,” he kicks aspirational platitudes and rides a breezy, playful breakbeat and some dizzy synth oscillations. It’s a cool song, probably the best example we’ve heard yet of the chemistry that these two have. Check it out below.

I don’t know anything about iOS/Android apps, but I guess Rome Fortune’s one is out now.
