Would you spend $850 for a bottle of Jay-z’s new champagne?
Appearing for the first time in 2006 in Jay-Z’s clip “Show Me What You Got,” Champagne Armand de Brignac (better known as “Ace of Spade”) has become a benchmark in the world of Rap bling bling.
And for good reason since 2014, this same Jay-Z has become the exclusive owner.
Besides the characteristic design of its opaque bottles covered with a thin layer of metal, the brand is also recognized by the connoisseurs of the genre for its high quality.
The Cuvée Blanc de Noirs was awarded the title of “best champagne of the world” last summer by Fine Champagne magazine.
As a logical consequence, Armand de Brignac will release on April 18 a new vintage called Blanc de Noirs Assemblage 2, or A2 for the intimate.
Unlike its predecessor, which cost $760, this time you will have to pay no less than 850 bucks for the chance to taste this still fruity mixture but which looks “slightly more peppery.”
For those who decide not to pay their rent or stop eating for a few months, hurry, only 2,333 bottles will be produced (all numbered).
