Foo Fighters – “Empty Handed” & “Kids In America” (Kim Wilde Cover)

For Record Store Day this year, Foo Fighters (and official RSD ambassador Dave Grohl) put out Songs From The Laundry Room, a 10-inch that contained two demo versions of tracks from their 1995 self-titled album, a cover, and a previously unreleased song. The new song is “Empty Handed,” which they also played at their RSD show at The Record Connection in Ohio. The cover is of Kim Wilde’s iconic “Kids In America,” which was recorded by Grohl in 1991 and teased during an episode of last year’s Sonic Highways TV show. You can listen to both of those tracks below.
