Dux Content – “Snow Globe”

Dux Content is the long-standing collaboration between A. G. Cook and Danny L Harle, and they’ve just released a new track called “Snow Globe,” their first song under this project umbrella since 2013’s “Like You.” It’s a pretty standard operating procedure PC Music track — female vocals espousing feel-good mantras with a bitterly cold underbelly, lifting synths that fall somewhere between a Disney song and Top 40. But the money shot here comes in the second half of the track, which builds up like a reindeer on speed, punctuating the whole thing with a twinkling comedown. Check it out below.

Check out their snow globe-themed website for the track here, and read our review of their recent POP CUBE exhibition.
