Drake‘s “Summer Sixteen” tour has definitely not disappointed as he continues to surprise his attending fans with special guest appearances and even sometimes premiering new music.
During his last outing in Detroit on Tuesday night he put an end to rumors floating around that he and Eminem weren’t on the best of terms. he made it pretty clear that those rumors were false by bringing out the Multi Grammy winning artist on stage with him. Also, fans that were lucky enough to snag an invite to the After Party were treated to some new tunes possibly off his new mixtape that he announced earlier this summer during his stop in Kansas City. In the following clips recorded live from some fan at the after party, you can hear 2 new songs in playing in the background and from what we can hear it sounds like more hits. Both songs carry the same sound Drizzy has been having success with over the past year. The Caribbean islands inspired music like “Hotline Bling“, “Controlla“, “One Dance” & “Too Good” Feat. the island goddess herself Rihanna.
The first clip really sounds like slow whining island music.
The second one has Drake singing some pop vocals that New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. had captioned a while back on an Instagram post which read: “Fake people showing fake love to me straight up to my face”.
So stay tuned for these 2 new tracks perhaps this saturday on his Beats1 OVO Sound Radio show where he is famous for premiering all his new material as of late.
