Disclosure – “Hourglass” (Feat. Lion Babe)

Disclosure are only a couple of weeks away from releasing Caracal, their much-anticipated sophomore album. This thing is absolutely jammed full of collaborations, and we’ve already heard “Omen” (with Sam Smith), “Moving Mountains” (with Brendan Reilly), “Holding On” (with Gregory Porter), and “Willing And Able” (with Kwabs). The latest track that the duo has shared is “Hourglass,” a smooth and expensive-sounding house track with a nicely-delivered diva vocal from Jillian Hervey, of the New York neo-soul duo Lion Babe. It’s not a transcendent banger or anything, but it comes closer to the aesthetic of Disclosure’s great debut Settle than any of the other Caracal tracks we’ve heard thus far have managed. Listen to it below.

Caracal is out 9/25 on PMR/Island.
