Day Wave – “Come Home Now”

Day Wave, the one-man lo-fi synthpop project from Oakland’s Jackson Phillips, released the impressive Headcase EP this summer. And now he’s back with “Come Home Now,” a snotty-but-bittersweet ode to an ex. It’s already been pointed out, but it’s pretty amazing the way this guy can coax early-Cloud Nothings indie-pop murk out of his Casio. Listen to “Come Home Now” below.

Phillips will release “Come Home Now” as a 7″ 11/6 on House Arrest.
